We have bought and sold many homes over the years, but few transactions have gone as smoothly as the one with Help U Sell's Sandra Miller and her excellent support team in her Santa Monica office. In fact, things went so well that we are compelled to write this short recommendation, certainly the first time we have ever done so for any real estate agent that has represented us in our 25 years of owning various homes and condos around the country.

 

There are many real estate agents in LA, and we have met dozens of them on numerous open houses. Most are disappointing or annoying; they either lack the knowledge of what they are selling or don't have the skills to close a deal. Sandy is the rare diamond in the rough: she has both tremendous market savvy and plenty of skills to get things done, does not waste your time in doing so, and be professional and pleasant all at the same time.

 

Many agents will over-promise and under-deliver. Sandy does the opposite: and does it with style, grace and efficiency that the rest of the real estate industry should learn from. She knows the market, understands how to price and sell your property, and knows when to push and when to hold back on negotiating the various finer points during the closing. Few agents in our history have demonstrated all of these skills.

 

As David is a computer expert, he was glad to see that much of the drudgery of the closing was taken care with an online site called Transaction Point that made it easy to track our progress, obtain documents quickly, and easily interact with both Sandy and our escrow company. And having Sandy available on AIM made those last-minute requests for one document or another even easier. All agents should be as accessible and easy to work with.

 

We have neglected to mention Help U Sell's excellent office staff in this note: they are all great people to work with and could answer any question that we had during the course of our transaction.
